Celebrating 15 Years of Smiles at NBTT!

On 1st June 2025, Nothing But The Tooth officially turned 15 years old, and we couldn’t let such a special milestone pass without a celebration!

To mark the occasion, and in conjunction with National Smile Month, we launched our ‘15 Years of Smiles’ campaign – a joyful tribute to the patients, stories, and moments that have shaped our journey over the past decade and a half.

Over four weeks, from 12th May to 12th June, we invited our patients to share something that makes them smile, whether it was a person, a pet, a hobby, or a simple pleasure. Each entry captured with a photo was also entered into a draw to win our fantastic grand prize: free teeth whitening, a hygiene therapy appointment, a goody bag of treats, and a lifestyle gift voucher.

The result? A month full of smiles, gratitude, and positivity!

Every day brought heartwarming reminders of the little things that bring joy, and it was a wonderful reflection of the community spirit that’s been at the heart of NBTT since day one.

We’re incredibly proud to have reached this milestone and extremely grateful to everyone who’s been part of the journey. Thank you for 15 incredible years – we can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Smiles in numbers!

With 101 total entries, we crunched the numbers to find out what brought the biggest grins. Here are just a few highlights:

• Unsurprisingly, friends and family came out on top, with a heartwarming 37 mentions.
• The sunshine put a smile on 10 faces – a very British sentiment!
• Dogs were a favourite too, with 9 people naming their four-legged friends as their reason to smile
• Not far behind, 8 people mentioned their beloved cats
• Cake was mentioned twice, proving that dessert really does make everything better!
• Boybands clearly still have a hold of our hearts, with Harry Styles getting two mentions and Robbie Williams receiving one!
• Holidays and travel memories were the top choice for 3 people
• Aston Villa made three fans smile – two when they win, and one when they lose! (we spy a bluenose…)
• Liverpool and Man United shared the points with one vote each
• 4 people said that their job makes them happy – a coach, an electrician, a musician and a social worker, in case you were wondering!
• Wine got 3 mentions, showing some smiles are best served by the glass!
• And finally, 13 lovely patients said that coming to NBTT made them smile, which made us smile too.
