About Demi-Leigh Paintain, City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing

My name is Demi Leigh Paintain (Dem) for short.

I will be a helping hand for all nervous patients; I will help your dental phobia and be a hand to hold when needed.

I hope to progress my experience with doing further courses such as radiography and oral health.

I have a passion for going to the gym, socialising with friends and spending a lot of time with family. I love going on holiday and I can’t wait to share my experiences with everyone.

About Demi May

I’ve been a dental nurse for 10 years and love helping nervous patients feel comfortable and supported, guiding them through their dental journey and seeing them regain their smile and confidence.

With the support of the practice, I am currently working towards my radiography qualification to further enhance the care I can provide to our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, spending quality time with my family and friends, and exploring new places. I’ve recently visited York and Tenerife, and am planning a trip to Thailand!

Hi, I’m Samantha – or Sam for short!

I recently joined the team as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Before starting my journey in dentistry, I worked as a Care Assistant, which I loved, but when I chose to move on, I knew I wanted to stay within the care sector — helping and supporting others has always been important to me.

I’ve become interested in dentistry because it not only improves oral health but also helps people regain their confidence through their smile. I find it really rewarding to build relationships with patients and be part of their care journey.

In my spare time I enjoy the simple things like baking, cooking, spending time outdoors and reading. I would love to explore as many countries as I can in my life.

Hello, I’m Saima, your dental nurse with around five years of experience.

What I enjoy most about my role is being part of a team that is involved in making a real difference in people’s lives. I enjoy seeing patients achieve the smile they always desired while maintaining great oral health. I feel delighted when I see patients’ confidence grow after I have assisted in helping them overcome their dental issues. Dental nursing has become an incredibly rewarding career for me.

I chose dentistry because I have always been fascinated by healthcare and the impact it has. Additionally, the variety of tasks and the constant learning opportunities keep me engaged and motivated.

When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the gym, playing badminton, and going out on family outings. I’m a massive foodie. I’m always excited to explore different cultures and try new cuisines.

About Rebecca Lynch

Since becoming a trainee dental nurse in 2018, I have developed a passion for dentistry and enjoy continually learning and progressing in my career – I recently completed my Certificate in Dental Radiography, which means I am now qualified to take x-rays.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing the amazing before-and-after results of treatments and knowing the positive impact it has on our patients.

I strive to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Working alongside such a cheerful and supportive team makes the job even more enjoyable!
