Together, We’re Making a Difference

14.5 Kilos of Dental Care Recycled!

Thanks to the incredible support of our patients, staff, and local community, we’re proud to share that over 14.5kg of dental care products were saved from landfill in 2025. That’s a big win for the planet, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

As healthcare professionals, we recognise the importance of protecting not just oral health, but the health of the planet too. Sustainability is a shared responsibility, and we’re committed to doing our part by making responsible recycling easy and accessible for our community. Every toothbrush dropped into our recycling box, every empty toothpaste tube, every small decision to recycle instead of throw away adds up. These everyday actions might seem minor, but together they create real, measurable impact for our environment.

How You Can Get Involved

If you haven’t started dental recycling yet, the good news is, it’s incredibly easy! We accept:

  • Toothbrushes
  • Electric toothbrush heads
  • Toothpaste tubes
  • Interdental brushes
  • Floss containers

Simply place them in the recycling box at our reception during your next visit. You don’t have to be a patient – everyone is welcome.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build on this momentum and save even more waste from ending up in landfill. Let’s keep the impact growing!

I take great pride in working with extremely nervous patients as I understand their fears – I have myself had a dental phobia in the past. I love talking to people and I find that seeing patients for their six monthly healthy mouth assessments is more like meeting up with old friends.
