About Rachel Carr, Pearson BTec Level 3 Diploma in Management (Intraining, UK)

As the Practice manager here, I ensure the practice runs efficiently and safely for all our patients, staff and visitors.

I take great pride in working with extremely nervous patients as I understand their fears – I have myself had a dental phobia in the past. I love talking to people and I find that seeing patients for their healthy mouth assessments is more like meeting up with old friends.

I love to travel and I have been lucky enough to spend six months living in and exploring Japan. I also enjoy cooking and baking for my friends and work colleagues. I love keeping fit and I spend much of my free time attending body pump classes working off all those cakes.

About Louise Rainbow, BA Hons (Birmingham City University, UK)

Mine is usually the first smile you see when you walk into the practice. There is nothing I enjoy more than being front of house and making our patients feel welcome – whether you are new to the practice or part of the furniture like I am!

I gained an interest in dentistry through having my own treatment done and I have now been part of the NBTT team since 2017. I have loved every moment. My experience in retail has made me very aware of the importance of good customer service, and I always look for new ways to ensure the practice runs like a well-oiled machine.

In my spare time I love travelling and seeing live music. I am passionate about animal welfare – including having my own fur babies at home.

About Georgie Alcock

I started my career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse, where I developed my skills and knowledge in many areas of dentistry. But now as a Patient Care Co-ordinator, my role is to guide you through your journey with us, ensuring you always feel safe, informed and reassured.

Although my main area of work is now as a Patient Care Coordinator, I do enjoy going back into surgery when I can. I love that no day is the same and every patient you meet has a story of their own; it’s great to be a friendly face during their treatment journey.

Outside of work, my partner and I are big fans of rugby, so most of our free time is spent pitch side or at the club volunteering. When we are not at the rugby club our miniature dachshund, Hector, keeps us very busy!

About Imogen Burns

As Communications Manager at Nothing But The Tooth, I love spreading the word about the importance of oral health, highlighting the amazing treatments we offer here, and helping people find the care they need to achieve their best smile. I can be found snapping photos around the practice and pestering my colleagues for content to post on social media!

Outside of work, I love going to concerts to see my favourite artists perform live, and have recently come back from a 3-month trip backpacking around Southeast Asia.

About Denise Blake

I work as the receptionist on Saturdays at Nothing But The Tooth. I love meeting patients and helping them feel comfortable and welcome at the practice. I particularly enjoy putting nervous patients at ease – it’s really rewarding to brighten someone’s day with a friendly interaction.

In my free time, I enjoy knitting, swimming and escaping into a good book! I read a book a week across all genres, but my favourite authors are Bill Bryson, Thomas Hardy & Maya Angelou.
